A Brief History of Failures…

Born only to be sent to school...Opted to deny Mathematics and studied Biology when given an option...The rules of universe were against me... they wanted me to study Electronics and forced me to make love with monsters like Differential Calculus, Laplace Transforms and Electromagnetic Theory…When I decided to study Electronics, I was pushed into deep cold water of Computer Science losing myself in Turing Machines and cute funny useless algorithms...When I had the conviction that I learnt…See More

About Me
An insignificant, mortal assortment of carbohydrates and chemicals with an iota of macrocosm dormant somewhere deep down inside and a pre-installed, customizable operating system with a lot of Application Program Interfaces built in with unexplored and underutilized system resources. The system inexorably tries to position and reposition itself by comparing with the perceived less and more important mortals on the same ecosystem and keeping itself conveniently agnostic and ignorant about the incomprehensibility of the universe it exists.

Some professionals took it as an opportunity to start the conversation, an official meeting or a class room session by cribbing how senseless Microsoft… Continue

Something bothered me then….

I started using computer in 1997, HCL-HP Desktop PC with 80486 100MHz processor (not Pentium), less than 100 Kilobytes of cache, 16MB RAM, 640MB hard disk and Windows 95 Operating System. I used to run applications like WordStar, then installed office 97 and AutoCAD 14 and some DOS based games.

With a 16 MB RAM, my computer used to take a couple of seconds to boot, another two or more seconds second to load AutoCAD despite it's graphical interfaces and complex algorithms.

1. The new form of DRM (Digital Rights Management), which restricts you from accessing and operating on your own data files and programs that Microsoft believes to be “Malicious”

2. Had it been so secure and robust, why the hell are they releasing service patch?

3. Am I paid to restrict my own activities? I know my computer and I know what am I doing on it

4. Constant monitoring of your activities, which is an intrusion on my privacy and eats away system… Continue

You may want to create Praxis Valley as a "private network"..thats what ive done for FinCoP....this way only registered members would be able to fully benefit for the guidance provided by the IT Club.
