Religion is a multi billion dollar business.

Religion has and will remain the greatest binder among mankind for ages. It brings faith, trust and common belief along with it. People have done great and also sinful acts relating to religions. Many say God is one but religions are many and they are just a medium to reach God. But of late a lot of treachery has been going on relating to religion. Now a days religion has become a best alternative for business. They say religion is for all and it doesn't cost anything to get near to God but then why are not bibles sold for free. Taliban has been murdering people and creating fear in the name of religion, just for the sake of showing off. In India religion has reached radios, TVs and all kinds of media to sell itself. In Tirupati temple 1000s of people stand in queue everyday just to get their head tonsured and temple officials rake in millions just by doing so. In Puri Jagathnath temple the priests run after you to offer your praying to God and loot you of thousands of money just for a 'puja'. Lately the various 'babas' and self-proclaimed 'sadhus' who preach on national TVs have also been involved in carnal activities. Shiv senas and Bajrang Dal have also been involved in various vandalisms and immoral acts in recent past. So can one really believe what these religions preach now a days? Can we keep faith in God anymore? Such questions are raised only because the so-called religions and its fanatics have degraded its importance. Instead of preaching the way to immortality they have made religion a money minting business and no one can object it...
